Congratulations to our FEDCIS team for being the first Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) certified this year!
Based on the Department of Health (DOH) Department Circular 2018-0500, one of the requirements of the 2020 renewal of hospital LTO is a DOH-validated EMR.
As soon as our FEDCIS team was informed of this new circular, they immediately started developing the Federation’s own EMR system. It was a long and tedious process, but our FEDCIS team pulled through to ensure that it would be available for the use of our member-chapters.
